In Surviving Savannah by Patti Callahan Henry, Everly Winthrop is tasked with curating a museum display focusing on the 1838 sinking of the Pulaski, now known as “the Titanic of the South.” As she digs into that night, she is determined to find out the story of Lilly Forsyth, the niece of a prominent Savannah family who funded the building of the ship.
